Casting Director
Alexandra Sandberg
As a former model, Alexandra Sandberg knows first-hand how the fashion industry may appear from a model’s point of view, and has, therefore, become known for her respectful and considerate working methods. However, having spent five years with Brachfeld as production manager, she has also considerable experience of casting for production companies and handling large budgets, which means that she understands the casting process from many different perspectives.

“I have a quite personal understanding of what beauty can be, and instead of limiting myself to one style or type of face, I find beauty in many different kinds of appearances.”

She was the casting director for Flair Magazine. Starting out as casting director for L’Officiel Hommes Italy, she is now, since issue no 41, casting director for L’Officiel Hommes Paris. Additional magazines she has worked with include Dior Magazine, Dapper Dan, Vogue editions, Self Service, Document Journal, Purple, Le Monde, System Magazine, Re-edition magazine, and SSAW.

She has done the cast for Aalto, Haider Ackermann, Ronald van der Kemp, and Thom Browne. In addition, she has worked with fashion brands such as Céline, Ferragamo Perfumes, Marc Jacobs Perfumes, Iceberg Perfume, Uniqlo, Lacoste, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Blumarine, Christian Dior, Missoni, H&M, Arket as well as industry personalities such as Juergen Teller, Willy Vanderperre, Viviane Sassen, Sarah Moon, Richard Burbridge, Cass Bird, Daniel Jackson, Josh Olins, Michelangelo di Battista, Liz Collins, Karim Sadli, Katja Rawhles, Paolo Roversi, Alasdair Mclellan, Martin Parr, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinood Matadin, Nan Goldin, Glen Luchford and Craig McDean.
