After long term stays in Paris and London, now Swedish-based Regina Törnwall has worked with people from literally all over the world. Her driving force is being part of a team working towards a common goal, using makeup to enhance looks and to create strong facial features. She is known specifically for her deep knowledge of how to work with different types of skin, and her ability to create the look that the client desires. One of her specialities is creating natural-looking skin, though her background in the film industry has helped her to develop a skill-set on how to create other and more dramatic effects as well. She has a grounded understanding of the human anatomy, which constitutes the basis of all her work.
During Fashion Week in Paris, Milan and London, she has often collaborated with Aaron de Mey for brands such as Saint Laurent, Chloé and Kenzo. She divides her time equally between advertisement campaigns and magazine editorials. Among her clients are Maison Margiela + Mykita, H&M, Acne Studios, Vogue, ID, WSJ and Arena Homme Plus. Because she often finds inspiration in music and art, her collaboration with Anton Corbijn, on portraits of Lou Reed and Metallica, holds particular significance.
